Animal-themed wall decoration for girls’ bedroom
I was very excited about this project because it was the first time I painted a wall mural for children other than my own two girls. The design was actually based on a random drawing I made about marsupial animals from Australia. Luckily my friends were open to that idea and after I created the final design, we started the painting process.
Painting together
It’s very important to me that the parents are involved in painting the murals for their kids. I think doing the actual painting makes the final piece more precious and unique (a bit like building your own IKEA table, but more colourful).
In the end, everyone was happy about the result. Here is what the dad had to say about it:
“Zsofi lightened up our girls' room with her adorable drawing and she even let me paint the numbered animals! - the height of my artistic career no doubt! Make sure to ask her for a Koala! Best deco at home!”
